Welcome to the official website of the band known as Smoke my Cuban, formerly known as Sideshow, Machina, etc...

About the Band

The journey  started when former bassist Chris Mercado went to a bandwagon gig and rekindled his passion for music. Chris pursuaded his highschool bandmates Jay de Quiros and Esse Dejos to form a band and later got Balbie Mejia into the crew.

The band, then known as sideshow,  had a unique "anything-goes, just-enjoy, everyone-contributes" approach to song writing. The songs were composed through collaboration and creative fusion of the members' ideas.

Original members Jay and Chris got out of the band due to other emerging priorities. Balbie and Esse are now joined by Eller Santiago (from Salagubang in Space and Shuteyeview) and Ryan Rillorta.



Smoke my Cuban's music encompasses different genres like rock, alternative, melancholic ballads, etc... Enjoy lang!
